EveryBlock is live, currently for Chicago, NYC and SF. A huge mashup of data from numerous sources, though lighter on the government info than I might have expected. Very much a model for the future of geocoded info

Wonderful, hilarious set of mashups of great art with geek jokes.

An unconference, designed to be the “bar camp” to the “foo camp” that is TED. Looks like it could be fascinating – I will certainly cross the street when I’m done blogging and listen or speak…
Wow! What a suprise to see you mention BIL here. I have been reading your blog for a while now and was suprised to see it here this morning. My business partner, Cody Marx Bailey, is organizing BIL along with Bill Erickson and Todd Huffman. I am sure they will appreciate the linkage when I forward this on to them. Thanks Ethan!
Thanks for linking to BIL. I’m one of the organizers, and we’re looking for all the press (and link-love) we can get.
If you’re interested in speaking, do you think you could add yourself to the wiki under speakers?

We’re trying to get everyone to add themselves to the wiki and put down what they’d like to speak about. This will help BIL spread faster and attract more people.
Thanks again
